Incisions are placed in natural creases around the ear and in the hairline, depending on the specific techniques to be used. The underlying muscles and soft tissues of the face are lifted and repositioned (SMAS layer) using a variety of techniques and extra skin is removed to achieve a more youthful, natural look.

Dr. Madnani has been working in New York since 2010 and specializes in facial plastic surgery, along with lasers and injectables to improve the shape and lines on the face.

Outside of his private practices, Dr. Madnani is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine where he volunteers his time teaching residents in training.

Dr. Madnani also travels internationally at least once a year on Medical Missions with Operation International, providing pro-bono services for patients in need.

Facelift FAQ

1. Question: How long does a Facelift last?
Facelift results are permanent in that you’ll always look seven to 10 years younger than if you hadn’t had it done.The procedure ‘resets’ the clock’, but does not stop it. If you compare your features in 10 years from now, you will look a lot better having had the lift than not. Other factors such as skin exposure, skin texture, smoking and your general health all play into how well your lift will last.
2. Question: How long will the procedure take?
Anywhere from one to three hours depending on what is being done.
3. Question: What is the downtime?
Dr. Madnani’s patients are usually considered presentable and ‘restaurant ready’ just 7-10 days after the procedure.
4. Question: When can I return to work?
Your work environment plays a factor in when you are able to return to work but most patients are able to return to work around 5-10 days depending on what procedures are being done.
5. Question: Will I still look like me after the procedure?
Yes! You will look like a more refreshed, younger version of yourself- think from 10-15 years ago.
6. Question: When can I exercise or swim?
By one to two weeks after the procedure, depending on what was performed on you.
7. Question: Do you preform the same type of Facelift on everyone?
No, the procedures are tailored to the face. Like a bespoke suit, the attention to detail determines the final outcome and the details vary between patients.
8. Question: Where are the incisions usually done?
Surgical incisions for facelifts are usually made in the hairline starting at the temples, continuing down around the front of the ears and ending behind the ears.
9. Question: Do you perform Facelifts on someone who has had one before?
Yes, I routinely perform secondary lifts, whether it is a patient that had a prior lift many years ago and wants to keep up their appearance or whether a patient wants an improvement on a recent procedure.

    Facelift cost starts from $10,000-$25,000+ and may vary depending on the complexity of the procedure required.

    We make it a priority to not overbook our schedules to ensure that each patient is given the adequate time that they deserve. Therefore, to consult with Dr. Madnani, a $350 deposit is required to reserve the consultation. To consult with another Doctor, Patient Coordinator, Physician Assistant, or Nurse, there is a $100 deposit required to schedule. Your deposit will get applied towards any procedure or treatment scheduled with us*.

    *The deposit cannot be applied towards a HydraFacial or towards skincare purchases.
