Radiesse is a soft tissue filler administered by injection to restore volume and support to the underlying skin structure. The formula is composed of calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres, which tend to last longer than other dermal fillers on the market today. Radiesse also stimulates the body’s own collagen production and tissue regeneration, for a healthier, glowing complexion for up to one full year.

Dr. Madnani offers Radiesse treatments at his New York office and frequently recommends this filler for the following concerns:

Nasolabial Folds – lines extending from the nose to the corners of the mouth
Marionette Lines – creases that run from the mouth to the jawline
Hollow cheeks- to provide volume and lift and augment the ‘apple’ of the cheek

Radiesse may be used alone or with other cosmetic treatments, such as laser skin resurfacing or chemical peels, to enhance results. Radiesse can also be combined with other injectable treatments like Voluma and Botox to create more dramatic changes to the appearance.

How does it work?

Radiesse is injected into areas with volume deficiency to provide support to the underlying skin structure and smooth away wrinkles from the inside out. Injections are administered with a fine cannula that causes little or no discomfort. Treatment may take just a few minutes to complete, depending on the size of the treatment area and the number of injections required.

What are the results like?

Results of Radiesse are apparent right away, but continue to improve as the area heals and the filler solution goes to work under the skin’s surface. Radiesse offers much longer results than hyaluronic acid-based fillers, with some patients enjoying results for 12 months before a touch-up treatment is required.
