Post- Operative Long-Term Maintenance & Skin Health Plan
Long-Term Maintenance & Skin Health
Five pillars we recommend discussing at your 3–6 month post-operative visit
Pillar 1 — Skincare
Daytime: Vitamin C serum + broad-spectrum sunscreen (applied each morning)
Nighttime: Retinol or retinoid for skin turnover and collagen support
Daily moisturizer — essential year-round
Optional add-ons: eye creams, neck creams, or targeted treatment products as needed
Monthly facials — please schedule your complimentary skin consult with our esthetician
Pillar 2 — Sun Protection
You can enjoy the sun — avoid sunburns. Favor early morning or late afternoon when UV intensity is lower
Wear hats, sunglasses, and protective clothing during prolonged sun exposure
Daytime sunscreens — ask us for our favorite products
Pillar 3 — Skin Resurfacing
Recommended 1–2 times per year depending on skin type
Options include chemical peels (TCA), resurfacing or non-ablative lasers, microneedling
Schedule a consult with one of our providers for skin type-based treatment suggestions
Pillar 4 — Skin Tightening
Recommended approximately once per year to maintain firmness and structure
Options include microneedling with radiofrequency (face, neck, décolleté, periorbital) or Ultherapy Prime®
Your provider will recommend the best option based on your anatomy, skin type, and areas of concern
Pillar 5 — Injectables
Botox: continue as needed to maintain muscle relaxation and prevent dynamic lines
Fillers: for a natural result, EZ Gel (PRF) is strongly preferred — particularly for the midface and under-eye area
EZ Gel uses your own platelet-rich fibrin for a biologically natural volumizing and brightening effect
Our team can build a personalized annual treatment schedule around all five pillars. Ask us about this at your next visit — all treatments are available in-house.
Follow-Up Appointments
Next follow-up: approximately 2–3 months post-operatively (your coordinator will confirm timing)
Final post-operative evaluation: 6 months after surgery
